What is dermal filler?

Dermal filler is a gel like cross-linked synthetic material made up of Hyaluronic acid, which supplements its deficiency and moisturizes the skin, giving it the right volume. Dermal filler is used to shape the lips and give them more volume, smooth lines and wrinkles or to improve the contour of the face.
Hyaluronic acid stimulates the skin's natural regeneration processes, so that even after absorption of the product, the skin looks much better than before the procedure.
Dermal filler can last approximately between 8-18 months depending on the product/brand, area treated, body metabolism or environmental factors (eg heat)
