What is microneedling?

This is a minimally invasive procedure involving using a pen with fine needles to perform punctures on the skin (face, neck, décolletage). These punctures activate the self-repairing process, induce intensive regeneration, where fibroblasts are stimulated to produce new elastin and collagen

(therefore microneedling is also called Collagen Induction Therapy)

Furthermore, these punctures create micro-channels allowing the nutritional ingredients eg hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and minerals reaching deeper layers of the skin. The skin looks rejuvenated and moisturized. Skin elasticity, tone, and texture are improved.

Microneedling reduces pore sizes, scars and stretch marks.

This treatment is also good for acne scars and skin with broken capillaries.

Why Dermapen?
Dermapen technology has significant benefits over dermal-rolling and fractional laser treatments, due to the minimal trauma to your patient’s skin. Dermapen microneedling gives skin the chance to spend more effort fighting the ailment itself, rather than any collateral damage caused by the procedure.

How does it work?
Dermapen 4™ glides over the skin creating millions of fine, vertical fractional channels up to 104%
faster than other microneedling pens. These channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients deeper into the skin. The micro-injuries trigger a natural process of repair, increasing the production of
collagen and elastin and visibly improving a wide range of skin concerns.
