What is facial aging?

How long and how does hyaluronic acid injected in the skin work?

Until now, hyaluronic acid was distinguished between: natural and cross-linked. What does it mean that PROFHILO ® is injected with a special BAP technique?

BAP Technique (Beauty Aesthetic Points) are five specially developed Bio Aesthetic Injection Points on the face that allow you to stop the aging process more fully. They were selected by IBSA researchers at an appropriate distance from venous structures and large nerve branches to minimize the risk of hematoma, bruising, pressure or pain during injection.
The BAP technique reserved for injection of PROFHILO® ensures perfect diffusion of the preparation and gives the appropriate scaffolding effect and slender face.

Why only PROFHILO® can be injected using the BAP technique?

The BAP technique has been specially developed for PROFHILO®. The use of this technique has become possible due to the unique structural and rheological properties of PROFHILO®.

What is the PROFHILO® treatment protocol / how many treatments and when should it be performed?

For comprehensive skin rejuvenation, 2 treatments are usually sufficient, 30 days apart.
In some cases, with very poor skin condition, it is recommended to perform one additional treatment two months after the last treatment.

How to combine PROFHILO ® with other treatments?

IBSA develops specific protocols. If in doubt, follow the general instructions:

    Do not inject into treatment areas within 2 weeks of the initial procedure.
    Botulinum toxin: two weeks earlier.
    Microdermabrasion, chemical exfoliation, IPL: 1-2 weeks before or after treatment.
    Fractional laser (skin resurfacing): 3-4 weeks apart.
    Treatment should not be started within a short period of time after other routine medical procedures (including preventive vaccination).
    Dental procedures: at least 2 weeks before.

What are the observed effects of using PROFHILO ® and how do they manifest themselves?

PROFILO ® affects the overall multifaceted rejuvenating effect, but most importantly the results of clinical tests confirm the statistical determination of repair and rejuvenating skin processes. Already one month after the first PROFHILO® injection, we observe a statistically significant improvement in the FVLS result (bio-revolumetric effect), as well as an important regulation of the skin microconvexity (smoothing effect). One month after the second PROFHILO® injection, we observe a statistically significant reduction in the WSRS result (anti-wrinkle effect), and a significant reduction in all parameters of the Profilometer (index of filling efficiency). A very important indicator is a significant reduction in the parameters of the Torsiometer showing a significant increase in the cheeks firmness (activity improving skin density). PRO FHILO shows a statistically significant improvement in deep skin hydration.

How long do the effects of the treatment last?

Visible effects usually last around 6-8 months
In order to further enhance the effect, it is possible to perform 1-2 booster treatments per year then results will last longer approx 12-18 months
